Waterproof Headphones

Brief 

Design a set of overear sports headphones which can be used iwithin all areas of land based sports training. They must be sweat proof and rain proof adhering to IP63.

Designing waterproof headphones which are fully secured on the head and can be used in any weather condition.

Two variations of the internal sections of the headphones. This is a cross section of the Solidworks file to show how the headphones were structured to ensure the internal parts were fully waterproof. Green represents the electrical headphone components and blue represents gaskets.

3D printed on the z-corp powder printer in colour, to represent the mottled recycled plastic material to be used.

ABS plastic printed components of the final prototype, sanded, and sprayed with primer filler, undercoat, top colour and clear laquer.

Final prototype to show the shape and form of the headphones, the manufactured product would be made of mottled recycled plastic.
